Every. Single. Mile. Achieved.
Fifth Motorcycle Cannonball, second time achieving a perfect score.

Canada to Mexico via the Eastern Seaboard. No words, just gratitude. More detailed update later after our team has a moment to recover from the emotional roller coaster.

Still coming down from the incredible high that was brought on by the Motorcycle Cannonball. What an epic challenge and an even more legendary adventure. The chance to run a 90 year old motorcycle all over the United States is special enough, but the fact that Nikki Hancock rode on the luggage rack and we made every single mile puts this trip over the top. We are fortunate enough to be one of only just a few couples who attempted this type of challenge, and I believe we may be one of the only ones who completed every mile. On top of the raw experience of Americana that we had, Nikki and I had the opportunity to make some great new lifelong friendships.
.
I would like to wrap up my series of long editorials of the event by offering up recognition to those who richly deserve it:
•To Dale Walksler, Jon E. Neuman, Jesse Law, Matt Ruble, Rob Nussbaum, Cole Deister, Rick Kaylor, Retrocycle, The Good Old Motorcycle Parts Company, Replicant Metals, Competition Distributing, Brent Mayfield, and anyone else I may have forgotten for supplying parts and help in building such a solid motorcycle.
.
•To Ben Brown and Art Frank for sacrificing a month away from their homes and families to be our crew—we couldn’t have done it without you.
.
•To Randy Samz, Shane Masters, Jacob Martin, Doc’s Harley Davidson team, Panhead Pat, and everyone who pitched in on the very first stage to change out the destroyed front cylinder and helped get us back on the starting line the next morning.
.
•To all of the staff and photography teams on the event, for their unending assistance and amazing footage.
•To all of the dealerships, cities and hotels who hosted our traveling circus with grace and open arms.
•To our families for allowing us to do this event and supporting Nikki and I all along the way.
.
And finally to Jason Sims and Lee Ann Sims for putting the Motorcycle Cannonball on and arranging such an epic trip.
.
I am proud of our team, proud of our machine, and especially proud of Nikki for toughing it out on one of the most challenging events in the world.
Until next time: Team Fuquette, out.
